Job Role Summary

A Security and Controls Advisor provides high customer service and support for all IT security and controls / risk management related functions for the assigned business units.

Job Role Responsibilities

Provides high customer service and support for all IT security and controls / risk management related functions for the assigned business units, which includes:

  • Providing end-to-end support for IT segments of business audits and internal assessments which requires a high level of collaboration, coordination and creativity to gain alignment with fit-for-risk controls

  • Leading information security assessments that require strong analytical and technical skills across a broad range of IT platforms

  • Consulting with business partners to ensure risks are properly documented and mitigating actions are being followed

Expected Level of Proficiency

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT audit, compliance, segregation of duties, privileged ID management, risk analysis and controls

  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of technical security for Windows Servers, SQL, Oracle, Active Directory, Web applications, NTFS, Linux, Cloud, SAP, etc. preferred

  • Ability to effectively coordinate work as well as communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both business and IT partners
