ExxonMobil Lead Management Supervisor in Houston, Texas

Job Role Summary

The Lead Management Supervisor is a key leadership role on the Lubricants Market Development team. In this position you will manage a team that closely engages with both sales and brand marketing teams to help develop programs for lubricants products and services, and will be charged with accelerating pipeline development and new business wins, primarily in the b2b space. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and creative thinker with proven success creating and/or supporting the development of lead nurture programs. This position is based in Spring, Texas and is part of the Marketing organization of the Fuels & Lubricants Company.

Job Role Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of direct reports charged with working collaboratively to create, assist, and deliver winning lead generation and lead nurture campaigns

• Charged with setting direction for the team, providing guidance, and aligning activity with organizational strategic objectives

• Maximize the use of marketing automation software to qualify and distribute Sales ready leads

• Drive consistent and trustable reporting of results and deliver data-driven analytical insights on program performance

• Develop and socialize best practices, enabling continuous improvement opportunities with the brand marketing team

• Collaborate with the research/analytics and brand teams to generate insights on market conditions, trends, competitor activity and opportunities

• Responsible for employee productivity, effectiveness, and impact, and providing constructive feedback, coaching and career development

• Responsible for managing business expenses of a large diverse portfolio (e.g. employee expenses, agency costs, marketing events, database/tools)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Marketing Analytics

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing functions such as Lead Management, Direct Marketing, Market Segmentation, and Marketing Research

• Supervisory/Managerial experience preferred

• Excellent at motivating and leading diverse teams, and working effectively with different parts of the organization

• Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude, effective player/coach approach with direct reports

• Outstanding communication and leadership skills, highly adaptable

• Proven experience managing CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and lead nurture programs

• Demonstrated skills in various analytical domains (e.g. HANA, Tableau)

Preferred knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities and disciplines

• Strong critical thinking ability to make sound business decisions

• Experience leading teams to achieve a common goal

• Ability to dive deep into data, find meaning and deliver outcomes
